HUCD Students Lead Through Service and Professionalism

Howard University College of Dentistry students continue to embody the College's mission of service, leadership, and excellence. Recently, HUCD students volunteered with the Colgate Bright Smiles, bright Futures mobile dental unit at Bridges Academy, delivering oral health education and preventive care to children in the local community. 

The College also celebrates Kerra Kelly (D3), who presented at the Student Professionalism and Ethics Association (SPEA) Conference and was elected Southeast Regent - the first Howard student to serve on SPEA's national board. Her achievement reflect HUCD's commitment to preparing ethical, compassionate leaders who advance oral health equity locally and nationally.
