Predoctoral Programs

The Howard University College of Dentistry offers predoctoral programs that provide numerous options
for aspiring dentists or college students interested in dentistry as a profession. These programs include
the four-year DDS program, the two-year International Dental Program and the BS/DDS program.
Students are trained through a structured curriculum inclusive of foundational biomedical sciences, pre-
clinical courses and laboratories and supervised clinical patient care. Our core values CARES,
compassion, accountability, respect, excellence and service are rooted throughout the educational
experience.
