As one of the oldest dental schools in the nation and the only dental school in the District of Columbia, we are dedicated to clinical excellence, research, and service to underserved communities. Jackson, DDS, has been inducted as a Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy (PFA), one of the most prestigious international honorary dental service organizations in the world. Founded in 1936, the Academy is named after Pierre Fauchard of France (1678 - 1761), widely regarded as the Father of Modern Dentistry for his pioneering role in elevating dentistry into a recognized profession.
