OSA Programs and Services
The Office of Student Affairs (OSA) assists dental, dental hygiene, and post-doctoral students by providing services such as student orientation, financial aid assistance, registration, counseling, and support services. Student Leadership
A distinct characteristic of a Howard University dental education is the experience within a family atmosphere of students, faculty and staff. Student organizations and special events such as new student orientation, white coat ceremonies, officer’s installation, community health fairs, honors and awards programs, and graduation, all provide an equipoise to the academic experience.
At HUCD, a student's personal and professional growth as a leader in the profession and the community are built through professional dental organizations. Our students also become deeply engaged in concerns that impact the community and the dental profession in practice, policy, advocacy, and research.
